Panthers fan from Greensboro gets tattoo in honor of team, brother

GREENSBORO, N.C. — It’s no wonder self-proclaimed “super fan” Matt Mitchell has the Carolina Panthers logo tattooed on his upper right arm, according to the Greensboro News & Record.

Mitchell, 28, of Greensboro got the tattoo this season, the week before his beloved Panthers took on the Seattle Seahawks on Oct. 18.

Another reason drove him to get the tattoo. He wanted to honor his brother William, who was found dead on Sept. 8, 2014. He was 30.

They liked to watch the Panthers together, Mitchell said.
