One person injured in shooting reported on South Holden Road in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Police are investigating an early morning shooting reported in Greensboro that resulted in one person being injured.

Police were called to 2206 South Holden Road shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday in reference to the shooting. The people involved reportedly fled the scene before police arrived.

Shortly after that, the victim arrived at Cone Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound, according to Greensboro police.

Police said the suspects left in an unknown direction in a brown or orange SUV with a black stripe.

Descriptions of the suspects and details on the circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been released.

The shooting did not happen at Jake’s Diner.
