TROY, Mich. -- Imagine opening up a package of grapes you just bought from the store, only to find a black widow spider crawling around in it. That's what happened to one Michigan woman.

Ariel Jackson is still shaken up by the incident.

After shopping at Walmart in Troy, Mich., Jackson got home to discover a black widow spider crawling out of the grapes she'd purchased while she was rinsing them in the sink.

Jackson told WXYZ she was terrified and wasn't sure what to do next, so she called 911.

"When I called them, I was like, 'Um, this really isn't an emergency, but I have a black widow spider,' and he's like, 'Just kill it,'" she said. "And I'm like, 'Me? You want me to kill it?'"

Eventually, her brother and her boyfriend killed the spider.

Jackson said she is just glad she found the spider before anyone got hurt. For now, she says she and her boyfriend will be switching to apples when they pack their daily lunches.
