LILLOOET, Canada — A video of a 101-year-old woman playing in Canada’s first snowfall of the season has gone viral.
The woman’s son, Armand Foisy, posted the video to his Facebook page, but never expected it to garner so much attention.
“It was just a simple little video that was meant for family and friends,” Foisy told CBC News.
Foisy said the moment happened when they were driving just outside their hometown of Lillooet and it started snowing.
He decided to pull over and that’s when his mother hopped out of the car. Foisy said that the video, which has been viewed more than 8.3 million times, captured his mother’s personality perfectly.
“She’s a very happy, a very joyous person,” Foisy told CBC News. “She does not feel that 101 is any detriment to anything.”
