WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem police said they’re investigating numerous automobile break-ins in the Ardmore area which occurred late Thursday night or early Friday morning.
Police said a total of nine vehicles have been broken into so far in the area of 800 Watson Avenue and 2100 Gaston Street.
Police said some of the vehicles sustained window damage. Property damage was estimated at around $600 and stolen property at around $1,000. No suspects have been identified.
Authorities said that items stolen from the vehicles include loose change, pocketbooks and electronic equipment such as computer and power adapters. Both locked and unlocked vehicles were broken into, according to police.
