WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times in Winston-Salem on Friday, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.

At 2:48 p.m., officers with the WSPD responded to Carver School Road when they were told about a shooting.

Arriving officers found a 25-year-old Winston-Salem man unresponsive in the front yard who had been shot multiple times.

He was taken to the hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Carver School Road is closed from Theresa Avenue to Tracy Street.

FOX8 is told the shooting is an isolated incident, and officers are not looking for a suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
