WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Arrests have been made after a high-speed chase and shooting in Winston-Salem on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Winston-Salem Police Departmnet.

At 4:44 p.m., an officer with the WSPD was driving on the 500 block of North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive when he saw people in a black Audi shoot multiple times toward someone who was standing on North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

While the officer was trying to initiate a traffic stop, the suspects again shot toward the same unidentified victim, the release says.

At least one bullet hit the El Taino at 520 N. Martin Luther King Dr.

The suspect vehicle refused to stop, and a pursuit started. The pursuit eventually ended when the suspects got out of the vehicle on the 900 block of East Third Street and ran away.

All three suspects were apprehended after a foot chase and charged.

Ledarius Trevon Ham, 21, of Lewisville, was charged with:

  • felony flee to elude
  • felony carry concealed gun
  • maintain a vehicle for controlled substance
  • discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling
  • discharging a firearm from an enclosure
  • resist, delay, obstruct

Isaiah Dwayne Branson, 18, of Winston-Salem, was charged with:

  • discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling
  • discharging a firearm from an enclosure
  • discharging a firearm within the city limits
  • resist, delay, obstruct
  • PWISD marijuana
  • PWISD methamphetamine
  • PWISD cocaine

Datarius Knajawan Pemberton, 27, of Winston-Salem, was charged with:

  • discharging a Firearm into an occupied dwelling
  • discharging a firearm from an enclosure
  • resist, delay, obstruct
  • PWISD marijuana

Police seized one handgun, one rifle, three cell phones, approximately $600, 1.25 pounds of marijuana, 22 grams of THC wax, 13.94 grams of methamphetamine, 4.63 grams of powder cocaine and 4.27 grams of crack cocaine.
