Asheboro
Burlington
The City of Burlington will host its Fourth of July fireworks show Friday around 9:15 p.m. at Burlington Athletic Stadium. The firework show will start at the end of the night’s baseball game, so the start time is not exact.
People at the game can watch the fireworks from the stadium or two free public viewing areas that are available. These include the lawn at the Fairchild Soccer Complex (1550 W. Hanover Road, Burlington) or the Fairchild Softball Field #2 (811 S. Graham Hopedale Road, Burlington). Parking is available at the stadium, the Fairchild Soccer Complex, CS Carolina and Glen Hope Baptist Church. If you’re not attending the baseball game, it is recommended you arrive no earlier than 7:30 p.m.
Denton
The 51st annual Southeast Old Thresher’s Reunion started on July 1 on 1072 Cranford Road and will run until July 5. Admission is $16 for adults, $6 for anyone under 12 and preschoolers get in for free. Fireworks are set for 9 p.m. on July 5.
Eden
A Fourth of July Fun Parade will be held on July 3 at 9:30 a.m. Parade organizers say to meet in the parking lot of Fair Funeral Home at 9 a.m. Everyone is welcome to join in the parade.
Gibsonville
Guilford County Parks will host the 14th annual Fireworks Extravaganza at Northeast Park beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 3 at 3441 Northeast Park Drive. Fireworks are expected to begin at about 9:30 p.m. Admissions costs $5 per car, $1 per walk-up guest.
Greensboro
No big fireworks show will be held in Greensboro this year, but the Fun Fourth Festival will be held over the holiday weekend. There will be live entertainment across three stages. There will also be the Freedom Fest Laser Show beginning at 9:30 p.m. on July 3, in the parking lot at the corner of Market and Davie streets.
High Point
The Uncle Sam Jam is being held at Oak Hollow Festival Park on 1841 Eastchester Drive. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. The event features live music. Fireworks are slated to begin at 9:15 p.m.
The Heroes Center Veteran Support Camp will host its third annual Patriotic Celebration from 4 to 6 p.m. on July 3. The public is invited to a free concert featuring the 82nd Airborne Division Chorus and Miss North Carolina with her Performing Troupe at the Heroes Center on 1500 Bridges Drive, Heroes Center President Bob Uber said. The Randolph County Volunteer Honor Guard will participate in the event, which will be held in the open air 500-seat auditorium on the Heroes Center campus. Handicapped-accessible restrooms and a washing station will be available.
Kernersville
A Fourth of July concert and fireworks show starts on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at Kernersville Elementary on 512 W. Mountain St. Fireworks are expected at about 9:15 p.m.
King
The City of King will hold its annual Fourth of July Fireworks on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at dusk (approximately 9pm). Fireworks are launched from Recreation Acres and are visible throughout town. Limited parking will be available at the White Road parking lot.

Lexington
Beginning at noon on July 4, Old Homeplace Vineyard will host live music performances at 623 McGee Road.
North Wilkesboro
The Independence Day fireworks display at North Wilkesboro’s Memorial Park and the Great American Fire Truck Parade in the Wilkesboros are scheduled for Sunday, July 4.
The fire truck parade, open to all emergency services vehicles, will begin at 8 p.m. at West Park, North Wilkesboro. From West Park, it will go right on D Street, right on the CBD Loop, right on Sixth Street, right on Cherry Street to Wilkesboro Avenue and cross the Yadkin River to Wilkesboro.
The fireworks display starts about 9 p.m. July 4.
Randleman
The annual July 5 Fun Day will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and feature food, bounce houses, face painting and music. Fireworks will be set off once it gets dark.
Reidsville
The Independence Celebration starts at 5 p.m. on Saturday at Lake Reidsville on 630 Water Works Road. The fireworks display is scheduled for 10 p.m. Admission is $5 per car and $2 per walk-in guest.
Winston-Salem
The Winston-Salem Recreation and Parks Department will have a fireworks display on July 4. The parking lots on 815 Salem Lake Road and 1075 Shalimar Drive will be open for anyone who wants to watch the fireworks from the parking lots. The parks department says the fireworks display will begin once the sun has set and the sky is completely dark.
Yadkinville
The 4th of July Independence Celebration will be held on, Saturday, July 3rd with food trucks/food vendors, a parade, and a fireworks event in downtown Yadkinville.
Food Trucks will be on the grounds at 4 p.m. at Elm and Jackson streets. Tents and picnic tables will be set up for people’s convenience as well as port-o-lets and handwashing stations.
The parade begins at 7 p.m. and fireworks will start at dusk at Yadkinville Elementary School.
