Guilford County Schools votes to keep mask mandate in place for another month

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Guilford County Schools on Tuesday night voted to keep masks mandatory for another month.

Board members voted 5-4 to continue masking.

The board will revisit the decision at their Jan. 11 meeting.

On Tuesday, 1,932 new COVID-19 cases were reported in North Carolina.

Guilford County is still in the CDC’s “high” community spread category.
