ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A man has been arrested and charged with statutory rape in the Piedmont Triad.

According to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, investigators arrested Robert Lee Slaughter, 65, on April 12 and charged him with two counts of statutory rape.

He was given a $300,000 bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
