CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WGHP) — Charles Collier III, of Charlotte, bought a $5 Fast Play ticket and won a $126,722 lottery prize, according to an NC Education Lottery news release.

Collier bought his lucky $5 Blackjack ticket from the Harris Teeter on Carmel Road in Charlotte for the Nov. 26 drawing.

He claimed his prize on Monday, Dec. 1 at the lottery headquarters in Raleigh.  

After required state and federal tax withholdings, he took home $89,657.
