GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — All lanes of Interstate 40 East were closed as the result of a Saturday afternoon crash, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
The crash occurred at Mile Marker 224 near Exit 224 for East Gate City Boulevard/East Lee Street.
All 3 lanes of I-40 East were closed as a result of the crash. Personnel were on-scene providing detour instructions.
There is no word as to what caused the crash or the status of anyone involved at this time.
