KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — A North Carolina high school teacher has been jailed under a $250,000 bond after being arrested on drug charges.

WRAL reported that Brittany Alexandria Coley, 22, of Knightdale, faces numerous drug charges after being arrested Friday afternoon at her home.

The suspect faces charges of drug trafficking, manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to disturb, maintaining a dwelling for keeping or selling controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Coley is a social studies teacher at West Johnston High School, according to school officials. She started in August of last year.
