TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. — A North Carolina pastor is accused of pinching a handicapped child on the buttocks multiple times.

WBTV reported that Dennis Chapman, 62, of Taylorsville, faces a charge of assault on a child less than 12 years old.

The suspect is the pastor of a small Baptist church in Wilkes County and he also works as a bus driver for exceptional children, according to WBTV.

A woman said that she saw the suspect pinching a young child four times on the buttock on Friday. The exact circumstances of the alleged assault have not been released.
