GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro will celebrate the $2.2 million renovation of the former Canada Dry Bottling Plant with an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday evening.

The 82-year-old building now houses the Greensboro Visitors Center along with the Greensboro Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Greensboro Sports Commission offices.

FOX8’s Michael Spears spoke with GCVB President/CEO Henri Fourrier about the building’s redevelopment and what it means not only for the High Point Road/Lee Street corridor but in marketing the city for national and international events.

The ribbon cutting and open house will be held 5 p.m. Thursday, May 22 at 2411 High Point Road, Greensboro.
