CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — A mother pleaded guilty to dealing China white heroin and methamphetamine around her 5-year-old son, and hiding it in his power wheels car.

Tammy Hollar was sentenced to six months in prison and then three years of probation.

Police say they received several complaints from people who saw her conducting suspicious activity at a park. When police went to the park to investigate, they say she hid her meth in her son’s Power Wheels truck at the playground.

If she gets in trouble during that three-year probation period, she could face another 13 to 25 months prison sentence.

During her arrest in April, Hollar admitted to WSOC about dealing and using the heroin with her son in the car.

Hollar is also scheduled for a court appearance in Stanly County next week where she faces more drug charges.
