IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A North Carolina mother has admitted to assaulting her two children, ages 13 and 8, according to WSOC-TV.

Valerie Wirtheim, 30, of Iredell County, is accused of throwing her 13-year-old daughter on a bed and striking her head.
