WAUTAGA COUNTY, N.C. — A man in Wautaga County made a frantic call to 911 after finding three men had broken into his home.
He held all three intruders at gunpoint until sheriff’s deputies arrived minutes later.
It was a pastor who called the homeowner in Vilas after spotting the men going into the basement of the home.
The three men from Tennessee are charged with breaking and entering. Deputies said when they arrived the owner had a shotgun trained on the trio and was determined not to let them get away.
