BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police responded to a shooting just before 3 a.m. Sunday in Alamance County.

When officers arrived at 1127 Spence Court, they found Jonathan Mills inside with a gunshot wound to the stomach.

Mills was airlifted to UNC Hospital and has undergone numerous surgeries.

Detectives say the preliminary investigation indicated that the shooting resulted from a dispute between Mills and William Williams.
