SUNSET BEACH, N.C. — A high school senior from Raleigh is recovering from an apparent shark bite he got while vacationing in North Carolina.
WECT-TV reported that it happened Sunday at Sunset Beach in Brunswick County and the victim had to be taken to the hospital for stitches.
The victim said he saw what he believes was a shark in about two or three feet of water. He said it swam between his legs and bit his foot.
