Jennifer Mann and Jodi McDaniel told WLOS-TV that their driveway in Canton was labeled “(expletives) live here” instead of a street name.

The couple said the gay slur was hurtful and amounts to a hate crime. They’d like to find out who did it and take legal action.

There’s an option on Google Maps to report problems like inappropriate content. Google Maps says its policy considers discrimination based on sexual orientation as a hate crime.

Google Maps has since removed the slur.

The gay slur slipped through their check systems, perhaps because it was such a small road-driveway, according to Google Maps. Company officials said they will continue investigating.
