GREENSBORO, N.C. — A young woman is taking to social media to find her biological parents.
She posted a photo to social media that reads: “Hi! My name is Precious J. Bradley. I was abandoned at 719 Dillard St., Greensboro, NC on January 19, 1991 when I was about two weeks old. I am searching for my biological family. Please like and share. Spread the word. Any info is better than no info. Support me by tweeting #FindingPrecious.”
Bradley says she was left on the steps of a church daycare when she was an infant.
“I was found in a cardboard box. I had on clean linens and I was wrapped in a flowered sheet,” said Bradley.
Bradley was eventually adopted and raised by loving parents in Jacksonville, N.C. Now, the North Carolina A&T graduate is living and working in Florida, but she can’t stop thinking about her birth parents.
“The reason why I want to find them is very simple. I just want to know who I am,” said Bradley. “I don’t need any money. I don’t want to press criminal charges. I just want to know.”
Bradley has created a web page at findingprecious2014.tumblr.com with additional information.
