DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — Interstate 85 southbound near the Yadkin River Bridge reopened Sunday evening after being shut down for hours due to a massive wreck involving a tractor-trailer.
Three of four lanes had been closed near NC-150, exit 84 near the Davidson-Rowan county line for much of the day.
The crash happened shortly after 1 p.m. and involved a tractor-trailer that was hanging over the bridge. All lanes reopened at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
There were other crashes that involved other cars. There is no word on what caused the crashes or if anyone was hurt.
