Multiple victims injured in South Carolina lightning strike

GEORGETOWN, S.C. — As many as a dozen people are reportedly injured after a lightning strike in South Carolina, according to WCSC.

The strike happened Thursday afternoon in a Georgetown County river, the National Weather Service says.

Rescue crews responded to the scene where four people were reportedly unresponsive and 12 were injured.
