Mrs. Happy Homemaker, a food blogger and frequent contributor to the FOX8 morning show, has lost her husband at the age of 33.
Crystal Faulkner regularly joins the FOX8 morning show to share recipes. She has appeared on TV several times, sharing recipes and do-it-yourself projects for Easter, Valentine’s Day, the Super Bowl and more.
She posted the following statement to her website:
As many of you may already know, my family has suffered the unspeakable.
My husband has passed away unexpectedly at the tender age of 33. Not only was he my husband, but he was the father of our beautiful 3 children. We are devastated to say the very least & this is the hardest thing we’ve ever been though.
I’m asking for lots of prayers for my family right now. I was out of town when this happened, and my poor children are the one who found their father’s body. They are having such a hard time with having to experience that, so I ask for even harder prayers for my babies.
Thank you to everyone for your love, support, & continued prayers. And to the blogging community who have rallied behind me to help keep my blog alive during my extended absence as we try to cope, I can’t express my gratitude. This blog is my family’s only income & it’s how I provide for my 3 babies.
I just can’t express into words how grateful I am for each & every one of you.

From Crystal’s friends: Many folks have asked how they can help. For now, one of the best things you can do is share MrsHappyHomemaker recipe links to your Facebook pages and Pinterest boards in order to keep her website traffic up. Please find a recipe you like and share it, or keep an eye on the MrsHappyHomemaker Facebook page and share recipe links from there. Friends are running this page for Crystal right now, in order to keep her blog going in her absence. After many requests, we are looking at possibly setting up a GoFundMe account, and will keep you posted. Sharing recipe links is free and an immense help for Crystal during this difficult time. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support of the MrsHappyHomemaker family.
