CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. — A woman was arrested after admitting to injecting her 14-year-old daughter with heroin.
Jessica Lynn Riffey, 34, of Honey Brook, Pa., is charged with endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors, drug delivery and other related charges.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Riffey is accused of injecting her daughter and her daughter’s 16-year-old boyfriend with heroin and giving the drug to the teens for them to inhale on multiple occasions.
The girl and her boyfriend were found at Riffey’s home Thursday when police responded to a report that prompted a well-being check.
According to the Inquirer, the children told police Riffey had on multiple occasions taken them to her bedroom to use the drug.
Riffey admitted to giving the children the drug but said she had done it no more than three times, according to police.
Riffey’s boyfriend, 33-year-old Jameson Burn, has been charged separately with drug dealing and other offenses. The children claim he also supplied them with heroin to snort.
Riffey is being held in the Chester County Prison.
