Minivan crashes into utility pole, side of house in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are on the scene after a minivan tore through a yard, hit a utility pole and crashed into a house in Greensboro early Friday morning.

The accident happened around 6 a.m. at 1910 Way Street.

There are no details on who was driving the van or if there were any injuries.

There is damage to the yard and corner of the house. Debris and power lines are scattered.

Five homes are reportedly without power. A representative for Duke Energy says debris should be cleaned up in about 3-4 hours.
