WENTWORTH, N.C. — The case against Mickey Dale Snow was continued Wednesday with no public explanation from Rockingham County Prosecutor Craig Blitzer, visiting Wilkes County Judge Mike Duncan or Snow’s defense attorneys Bruce Lee and Seth Woodall.

For more than two hours Wednesday, Snow, 75, sat in Courtroom A of Rockingham County Superior Court accompanied by his daughter and an unidentified attorney, while Judge Duncan heard unrelated cases. Snow spoke only to a bailiff, his daughter and the attorney as the cases went on, asking at one point that the volume on the microphone be raised.

Snow faces six counts of statutory rape and six counts of patronizing a prostitute who is mentally disabled.

Snow, his daughter and his defense attorneys left the courtroom shortly before noon Wednesday.
