Manager robbed outside Church’s Chicken in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police said an assistant manager at the Church’s Chicken on Patterson Ave. was robbed in the restaurant parking lot early Saturday morning. 

Officers responded to 1301 N. Patterson Ave. just after midnight.

The assistant manager and another employee were leaving the business when a suspect approached them in the parking lot. The suspect pointed a silver handgun at the victims and demanded money.

The suspect stole an undetermined amount of money from the assistant manager and fled the scene running north on Patterson Ave. He was last seen running toward 14th Street.

The suspect was described as a 20-year-old male and was wearing a burgundy and grey hoodie.
