MOORE, Okla. – A man rode out the over two-mile wide Moore, Oklahoma tornado in a horse stall Monday afternoon, KFOR reports.
The man said his knowledge gained from living in Oklahoma was what saved his life.
He was outside when suddenly everything went quiet. He told KFOR that is when you know something is going to happen and you better take cover.
The man works and lives on a horse ranch and hid in a horse stall during the tornado.
He said he thinks maybe only one of their horses survived the twister.
