GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Some homeowners in Greensboro have an unwanted guest sleeping over on their front porches. A community watch alert was sent out to homeowners near the Old Starmount Community about Larry Lee.

Greensboro Police believe Lee is going around the neighborhood sleeping on front porches. "We just don't want him in our neighborhood and I'm sure no one else wants him in their neighborhood," explains Arnold Carswell, who lives on Rolling Road.

The community watch alert said that some homeowners have woken up, gone outside and seen Lee snoozing away on their front porch.

"There are a lot of people out there doing a lot of things that don't make sense to you and me," explains Jonathan Smith, who lives near the Old Starmount neighborhood.

Greensboro police records show Lee has been in trouble before for drugs, communicating threats and burglaries. Lee's latest arrest was in March for breaking into a home.

"I don't like the situation. We keep our doors locked when we go to bed. We just want it to be a very safe neighborhood," explains Carswell.

Greensboro police are urging homeowners to call them immediately if they see the suspect.
