Man injured in Greensboro shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for suspects after a man was shot and injured Saturday morning in Greensboro.

The victim told officers he was walking on E. Cone Boulevard near Summit Avenue around 4 a.m. when a white car slowed down by him.

He told police that a man sitting in the front passenger seat told him to empty his pockets. He said he tried walking away but was shot.

The victim was taken to Moses Cone Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his late 20s or early 30s, with a beard, and wearing a white T-shirt.

The investigation is on-going. Descriptions of the other people in the car were not provided.
