GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police say a man was robbed at gunpoint while he was sitting at a stoplight at an intersection in east Greensboro.

The robbery was reported just after 2 a.m. at the intersection of English Street and McConnell Road.

The victim told police he was sitting in his vehicle at a stoplight at the intersection when a man approached him, displayed a handgun and demanded “everything.” The suspect took cash and other belongings from the victim before running away. He was last seen headed east on McConnell Road.

Officers used a K-9 in an attempt to track the suspect, but he was not found.

The victim was not hurt.

An ample suspect description was not available.
