Man robbed, assaulted in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro man was robbed by a group of people early Christmas morning.

Officers were conducting foot patrol around 2 a.m. inside the Heritage House condominium complex, 310 West Meadowview Road, when they were approached by the victim who stated that he had been robbed.

The 48-year-old victim stated that he was walking down the hallway on the second floor of the complex when he was approached by five suspects who demanded his property.

The victim initially attempted to flee from the suspects, but they caught up to him and assaulted him. The suspects took the victim’s property and fled in an unknown direction.

No weapons were used during the robbery. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspects were only described as three black males and two black females.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
