HAMILTON, Montana – A man has been sentenced to 200 years in prison for impregnating his 11-year-old granddaughter and molesting the victim’s younger sister.

The Missoulian reported that Mikeal Shane Pruett, 55, of Stevensville, Montana, was sentenced Wednesday to 100 years each on two counts of incest.

Pruett was arrested in June after the 11-year-old girl was found to be 32 weeks pregnant. She gave birth in August.

The grandfather was the guardian of both victims. He will be eligible for parole when he is 105.

The judge said that Pruett has a longtime history of a predatory type of sexual conduct toward younger females and “seems to lack any kind of semblance of a conscience.”
