MILTON, N.C. — Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound at his home in Caswell County early Saturday morning.
The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Miguel Wenstley.
Caswell County deputies said he was found dead in his home at 222 Sunset Drive in Milton after authorities responded to a call of shots fired at about 1:16 a.m.
Caswell County Emergency Services pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The victim’s body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Deputies said they do not currently have a motive and the shooting remains under investigation.
