DUCK, N.C. — A New York man died after being pulled from the surf unresponsive off the coast of North Carolina earlier this week.
The Outer Banks Voice reported that Ronald J. Walls, III; 46, of Henrietta, N.Y., was pronounced dead after being taken to the Outer Banks Hospital.
Emergency workers responded to a beach off Duck on Monday morning and arrived to find bystanders administering CPR.
The victim reportedly drowned. He was vacationing in North Carolina at the time.
