Man dies after injury at NC plant

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — A man reportedly died over the weekend after he was injured at a manufacturing facility in Lincolnton.

According to WSOC, the man suffered a traumatic, life-threatening injury on Saturday morning at RSI Home Products.

The man was taken to Carolinas Medical Center – Lincoln, where he died, WSOC reports.

Lincoln County Sheriff David Carpenter tells WSOC his office is investigating a work-related death at the plant.

The victim’s family has been notified, but his name has not been released, Carpenter told the station.

No other details about the incident have been reported.
