Man charged with breaking into 11 cars at Greensboro strip clubs

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Winston-Salem man faces charges after he allegedly broke into 11 vehicles at two Greensboro strip clubs.

Roland Patrick Cobbins, 53, was arrested at his apartment on 225 North Peace Haven Road on July 23. An instigation by Greensboro Police and Winston-Salem Police linked Cobbins to two sprees of car beak-ins in that occurred in Greensboro early on July 21.

Cobbins allegedly broke into four vehicles parked at Christie’s Cabaret on 4016 West Wendover Avenue and seven vehicles at the Mirage Exotic Club at 6430 Burnt Poplar Road.

At both locations, he is suspected of stealing handbags, sunglasses, and personal electronic devices belonging to 15 victims.

Cobbins faces multiple charges of breaking and entering a vehicle, larceny and possession of stolen goods. He was released from Greensboro Jail Central on $25,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 22.
