HOUSTON — Police in Houston said a burglar fell asleep after breaking into a home.
The homeowner, Kevin Connolly, was surprised to find the man fast asleep in his guest bedroom.
The thief had rummaged through closets, snatched Connolly’s ski clothes, an iPad, laptop, guitar and even his dog’s ashes. He made several trips before dozing off.
It turned out that the burglar was a neighbor who lived just two blocks away. The thief left all of the stolen goods on his front porch while making trips back and forth.
He’s now facing charges.
