Man arrested in connection to fatal shooting of Greensboro man in 2010

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Police have made another arrest in connection to a man who was shot and killed in his Greensboro home in 2010.

Allen Lamont Hughes, 31, faces charges in connection to the death of 40-year-old Rodney Len Frazier, according to Greensboro police.

Two men forced their way into the victim’s home at 923 Omaha St. on December 28, 2010, police said in a press release.

The men physically assaulted and robbed Frazier and his older brother, Michael Anthony Frazier, before shooting the younger Frazier and fleeing, according to police.

Another suspect, Brandon Tyrone Curtis, was taken into custody in 2014 in connection with the incident and is currently awaiting trial.

Hughes faces charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was jailed without bond.
