Man accused of stealing taxi in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for a man accused of stealing a taxi in Greensboro.

Greensboro police said they were called to 212 Wind Road shortly before 3:30 a.m. Saturday in reference to a robbery.

The taxi driver told police that he was robbed about 20 minutes earlier at the location. The driver said he got out and was approached by a man with a handgun.

The suspect allegedly got inside the taxi and drove off. The Blue Bird Taxi #65 is described as a white 1997 Ford Crown Victoria with the logo on the side.
