GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The great thing about this time of year, is that so many people are in the giving spirit.

From helping families put food on the table to gifts under the tree.

But too often there is a group that tends to get overlooked during holidays -- teenagers in need.

Here in the Triad someone is trying to change that with comic books.

The Very Merry Christmas Special will start at 8:30 tonight at Geeksboro Coffeehouse Cinema on 2134 Lawndale Drive.

Tickets are $10.

All of the ticket sales will be used to purchase comic books for teens in need.

Acme Comics will donate an additional 50 percent of all ticket sales.

Natalie Wilson reports.
