GASTONIA, N.C. — A tree fell through a North Carolina mobile home, pinning a man inside, according to the Gaston Gazette.
The tree fell completely through the middle of the home Friday afternoon in Gastonia, according to the paper.
A man inside the home was injured and had to be airlifted to a hospital in Charlotte with life-threatening injuries, according to officials. His identity has not been released.
About 40 emergency workers responded to the scene. The cause of the tree falling is not known.
