GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police arrived at a gas station near the University of North Carolina Greensboro’s campus after hearing about a large scale fight.
It happened about 2:40 a.m. Saturday morning around 1411 West Lee Street.
When the Guilford County Sheriff’s Department and police from the University of North Carolina Greensboro arrived at the location they say they heard gunshots.
A short time later police say they found a victim at the intersection of South Elm Street and East Lee Street.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and a toboggan.
