NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. -- Several years after a World War II soldier passed away, his family received an amazing gift to help remember him by - his Bible.

The Bible, which contained soldier Milton Cummins' name and a faded address, asked that it be returned if lost.

Mark and Deanna Young found the Bible in a china cabinet they inherited and wanted to track down the soldier's family to return the item, WKYT reports.

With the help of their family, the couple was able to set up a meeting with one of Cummins' relatives to give him the Bible.

"God does small things that we should celebrate, and God does big things that we should celebrate," said Mack. "To our family, this was a big thing."
