Kenny Anderson fired after DUI arrest

Kenny Anderson, who played in the NBA 14 years, was fired as coach of David Posnack Jewish Day School after an arrest last weekend DUI charges, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported.

Anderson had been coaching the boys basketball team at Posnack, a private high school located in Davie, Fla.

Anderson, 42, was pulled over Saturday in Pembroke Pines, Fla., after failing to signal a lane change, the report said.

Police told the Sun Sentinel Anderson failed a roadside sobriety test and that his blood-alcohol level registered .194, well above the 0.08 legal limit.
