CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Cam Newton scored a big touchdown for the Carolina Panthers on Sunday’s game and wanted to hand the ball to a young fan. But an opposing player wasn’t having it.
Video shows Green Bay linebacker Julius Peppers grabbing the ball out of Newton’s hand and tossing it aside.
The Panthers even tweeted about the incident saying, “That was salty, Peppers. Sorry. That was cheesy.”
Newton has been known to give the ball away in the end zone after a touchdown, usually to a younger fan. Perhaps Peppers was in a bad mood.
In the end, Newton got the ball to a youngster. Watch it in the video below.

Meanwhile, Green Bay is now 6-2. Carolina faces the Tennessee Titans next Sunday.
