It’s Free Comic Book Day and fans are always the winners

GREENSBORO, N.C. — On Free Comic Book Day, the good guys always win, according to The Greensboro News & Record.

People who attended Saturday’s grand opening of The Comic Dimension won door prizes ranging from tickets to a movie to $100 cash. During its grand opening, the store, at 2823 Spring Garden St., hosted game tournaments and a costume contest.

Green LED lights surround the store’s showroom, where dozens of people packed in and collected free comic books, played games or watched television.
