INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Cat cafés have popped up across the country.
Now, Indiana residents may soon be able to enjoy one of their very own, WXIN reports.
Eric Hubbard and Selena Hubbard, a father and daughter duo, are working to bring the “Nine Lives Café” to Indianapolis this summer.
Customers will be able to enjoy coffee and pastries while playing with a plethora of fluffy felines. And if you fall in love with one of the little critters, you can take it home, as cats at the café will be up for adoption.
According to the IndyStar, there are many cats in need of homes, so Selena hopes the café will provide relief for local shelters and become a popular place for people to visit.
To accommodate state law, customers will order food in a room separated from the cats. That will keep the business in line with health codes.
